I’ve never prayed so hard in my life. I have an 8mm tumor in my brain. It’s not cancerous, thank God (literally). I have never been so terrified as I was going into that MRI. I have never been so anxious as I was for those 2 days, waiting for the results. I’ve been angry, I’ve cried, and I’ve prayed..a lot. I’m having some more tests done tomorrow to make sure it’s not causing any more problems than we already know. The tumor is on my pituitary gland, so it’s throwing my hormones off quite a bit. Luckily, they caught it now and I can still have kids in the future. As of now, I would not have been able to. Again, thank God. Also, the tumor is not pressing on my optical nerve yet, which if it does, it will need to be removed before it affects my vision permanently. Through this difficult time, I know that the Lord is going to be walking with me the entire way. I know that everything happens for a reason, and maybe this is meant to bring me closer to Him. I have prayed so hard, and I will continue to do so because I know He works miracles. I know that if I do have to have this removed, He will be guiding the doctor’s hands and will never leave my side.
